Circuit Board Ascot: "Short Circuit" cravat tie. We're super excited to be starting a limited run of some ties printed from vintage circuit board patterns. No circuit bored here.

We sleuthed the provenance of this vintage screen to the best of our knowledge. It appears these were for small CRT displays/control monitors in the mid-80's.

LIMITED EDITION! As is the nature of vintage silkscreens, once these screens die, that's it. (Not knowing the emulsion it was made with, they might hold up for a week, they might last for years!)

The ascot, or cravat, is the ancestor to the modern necktie. There are countless ways to tie an ascot - they can be tied four-in-hand as one would tie a regular, long necktie, or more traditionally with one less step, leaving the bib un-tucked - with or without a pin. It's up to you, your taste, and occasion! We've printed on one side so you can show as much (or as little) of the printed design as you choose.
